The Picnic House is tucked away in Prospect Park and is a little tricky to find. If you're using a map search engine like Google maps, please use the address of Litchfield Villa (95 Prospect Park West Brooklyn, NY 11215). The Picnic House is a short walk beyond the Villa's parking lot.

By Subway
2/3 Trains
Take the 2 or 3 trains to Grand Army Plaza. You should come above ground at Plaza Street and Flatbush Avenue. Walk around Plaza Street West towards Lincoln Place. In three blocks you'll be at the intersection of Plaza Street, Union Street and Prospect Park West. Make a right on Prospect Park West and walk seven blocks to 3rd Street. Make a left and enter the park. Bear to the right at Prospect Park Drive and walk an additional two blocks. The Picnic House is located up the driveway on your left.
F Train
Take the F train to 7th Avenue Station at 9th Street. Walk along 9th Street to Prospect Park West, turn left and continue along Park West to Litchfield Villa. It's a short walk from there to the Picnic House and you'll see signs for the Picnic House along the way.
By Long Island Rail Road
Take the train to the Flatbush Avenue Station. Then follow directions for 2 or 3 trains.
By Car
From the Brooklyn Bridge:
Continue straight ahead (at bridge end) six traffic lights. Turn left onto Atlantic Avenue.
Continue one mile. Turn right on Flatbush Avenue to Grand Army Plaza, then a third of the way around the traffic circle make a right on Prospect Park West. Continue 8 1/2 blocks to Litchfield Villa, between 4th and 5th Streets, on your left. Limited public parking is available in the Litchfield Villa parking lot.
From the Manhattan Bridge:
The bridge ends on Flatbush Avenue. Continue along Flatbush Avenue to Grand Army Plaza. (Follow Brooklyn Bridge directions above).
From the Brooklyn Queens Expressway:
Exit at Tillary Street. Follow the exit to the first legal left turn onto Flatbush Avenue. Continue on Flatbush Avenue to Grand Army Plaza. (See Brooklyn Bridge directions above).
